[Quick Questions] Giant Atari Joystick – Artist Jason Torchinsky

While at the Super iam8bit show, many pieces caught our eye. However, the most iconic piece of hardware was there in 15:1 scale form and caught everyone’s eye. Jason Torchinsky had constructed a gigantic, working model of the Atari 2600 joystick and displayed it at the show. Anyone who’s been there already would have undoubtedly seen and been awed by it. [Quick Questions] Cave Story 3D – Producer Jack Niida

While a relatively unknown game, Cave Story has been making a splash amongst fans of indie games for some time already for its old school roots, which shine through the simple, yet difficult gameplay. Earlier this year, NIS America has announced that the game will be making its 3D debut on the 3DS later this year. Curious about the game and what it will bring to a wider audience, we decided to ask Cave Story 3D producer Jack Niida a couple of Quick Questions. Ever since its teaser trailer leading up to E3, Ninja Gaiden 3 has been making some buzz about how the game will turn out and what fans can expect. After all, the game boasts a rich pedigree leading all the way back to the original Nintendo Entertainment System. With Ninja Gaiden 3, Tomonobu Itagaki will no longer lead the project as producer, leaving even more fans in the dark about the game’s prospects. [Quick Questions] Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon – Senior Producer Brian Etheridge

A long running series in Japan, the Earth Defense Force series made its debut in the US with D3Publisher’s Earth Defense Force 2017 on the Xbox 360 in 2007. [Quick Questions] Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic – Producer Joe McHale

Already on its fourth iteration, the Cooking Mama franchise is still going strong. Although it has already spawned other recreational activities for Mama, such as camping, it seems that we’ll be joining her for at least one more adventure in the kitchen in Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic. This time, since the game will be on the 3DS, Mama will have a whole new set of tools to use. To enlighten us, producer Joe McHale answered a couple of Quick Questions regarding the new entry into the series.

Recently released with the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo 3DS, Pokédex 3D is already making a splash amongst Pokémon fans with its expansive database of Pokémon from the Unova region. Players can view all their favorite Pokémon, given that they were lucky enough to have it in their own Pokédex or have a friend who can give it to them, and even take pictures with them! Lots of great things involved in this completely free title and we decided to ask Joel Simon, project market coordinator of Pokédex 3D, a couple of Quick Questions.

Definitely one of the most awaited releases for long time fighting game fans, Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online will feature many improvements such as graphical filters, GGPO netcode, YouTube integration, and a challenge mode that impress players with trails in both parrying skills and combos. While not busy wrecking people in tournaments as Goryus, Producer Derek Neal is hard at work on Third Strike Online and he took some free time to answer a couple of Quick Questions for us.
